Combining body positioning and an albatross-like wingspan, he easily shields possession and pokes pucks away from defenders. He’s also a master of deception, faking fakes on pass receptions, faking passes, and even faking cutbacks or turns. Those skills primarily serve Halliday’s playmaking.
