James Stanley 'Jim' Gilmore, Jr. was a prominent Kalamazoo, Michigan, businessman and its former mayor (1959-1961). Gilmore was known for his sponsorship of sports car racing and hockey. He became a minority owner of the Kalamazoo Wings in 1973. He died in a car accident on December 31, 2000.
