# Elite Prospects

> Elite Prospects is an ice-hockey statistics and records database, founded in 1999. EP maintains current career statistics, biographical data, transfers, drafts, tournaments, scouting reports, and league standings for hundreds of thousands of players across professional, junior, and amateur leagues worldwide.

Data is sourced from official league feeds, club partners, and the EP editorial team. Player profiles are the canonical entity — career statistics, transfers, awards, and draft history live there. Player pages follow `/player/{id}/{slug}`, team pages follow `/team/{id}/{slug}/{season}` (season-scoped, with the latest season as default), and league pages follow `/league/{slug}`.
