Jack Hughes is a name that most hockey fans are familiar with, but we're not talking about that Jack Hughes, the No. 1 overall pick in 2019 and the New Jersey Devils franchise centre, in this article.

We're heading to Northeastern, where another Jack Hughes is earning plaudits all his own as a potential first-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Hughes, a true freshman, just turned 18, but that hasn't stopped him from playing quality hockey at a top program in his draft year. It's no small feat.
