Zoom video sessions, hotel workouts, and afternoon walks have been part of life for the Binghamton Devils lately.

Little has come easily for the Devils this season, right down to the schedule. At different points this season, AHL COVID-19 protocols have hit the Devils directly or indirectly as opponents battled their own issues. The Devils, who are playing out of the parent New Jersey Devils’ training facility in downtown Newark, N.J., saw their opening-night game against the Hershey Bears on February 5 postponed. They then got back to a regular pace of games for the next month only to have their game with the visiting Lehigh Valley Phantoms on March 10 suspended after one period.
