Earlier this week, Nils Höglander recorded his third goal in as many games and hit the 17-goal mark on the season. A tidy sum for any player at this stage of the year, but especially impressive for the Swedish winger when considering his deployment and circumstances. This has spurred on a discussion about what exactly the Canucks and fantasy owners should be expecting from the 23-year-old moving forward.

The Production

As mentioned, Höglander has 17 goals on the season. That places him among the top 75 skaters league-wide and ahead of such names as Mika Zibanejad, Vladimir Tarasenko, Tage Thompson, Mark Stone, and a host of other brand-name scorers.
