Fantasy Hockey Features: Calen Addison's new home and new opportunity

Calen Addison has been a subject of fascination for fantasy managers for a long time. He has been seen as someone with tremendous upside in the fantasy community, though his real-life value to an NHL team might be different. With the move to the San Jose Sharks, it is a good time to take a long look at how he got to this point and what upside remains.

Addison was drafted in 2018 by the Pittsburgh Penguins 53rd overall. This was a defencemen-heavy draft with Rasmus Dahlin and Quinn Hughes leading the way. No defenceman taken after Addison has played more NHL games than he, which is a feather in the cap of the Penguins’ scouting department.
