Fantasy Hockey X Gamers - The Curious Case of Morgan Frost

In this edition of the X gamers, we will be looking at Morgan Frost who is nearing the 200 NHL game mark. He’s about 30 games shy of that mark but has been garnering attention due to his deployment this season. 

The Aurora, Ontario native played for the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL. His draft minus one season wasn’t too spectacular with 27 points in 65 games, but he was able to more than double that to 62 points in 67 games in 2016-17. This was a big step up in production for the 5-foot-11, 170-pound center.

The book on Frost during his draft season was that he was a good skater with great offensive prowess. He has always been more of a playmaker than a goal-scorer and never the best defensively. Despite being more of a playmaker, he more than doubled his goals each of the first three years for
