Welcome to the first edition of Prospect Prospective. 

This series will take a prospect who has yet to establish themselves in the NHL and examine the reasons for this and what fantasy upside remains. Today’s focus is Dylan Holloway, who was drafted 14th overall by the Edmonton Oilers back in 2020.

Holloway was one of the rare players to skate in the NCAA during his draft-eligible season. He produced 17 points in 35 games for the University of Wisconsin before COVID shut everything down. It was a big jump from the AJHL to the NCAA and that level of production was a strong indicator of future success.
