Prospect Prospective: Connor Zary's explosive early-season success

In this week's Prospect Prospective, we're exploring Calgary Flames centre prospect, Connor Zary. 

Connor Zary was taken 24th overall in 2020 by the Calgary Flames. The EP Rinkside team rated him as the 25th best player that year so his position was right in line with the perceived value. However, there were widely varied opinions on him. Some thought he was a sure top-15 talent, while other scouts thought he was a second-rounder. 

Despite the opinion of scouts, there was no denying his production. As is eloquently described in the guide:
