We're into the final month of the regular season. The final day of anyone's regular season — for Hockey East and the NCHC — is March 9, and multiple conferences will have begun their playoffs before that as well.

The national picture is, therefore, coming into sharp focus. A number of teams are already considered virtual locks to make the NCAA tournament, and conference races are tightening up. It'll make for a fascinating sprint over the next two or three weeks.
