How many NCHC teams will make the NCAA tournament?

The NCHC was established with the aim of consistently sending a substantial number of teams to the NCAA tournament each season, a goal that has proven to be largely successful.

Since the league's official commencement of play in the 2013-14 season, there has never been a season in which the conference qualified fewer than three teams for the tournament. Considering the conference comprises only eight teams, this achievement is noteworthy. On average, half of the NCHC's teams secure a spot in the tournament each year, representing the highest percentage among all conferences since the significant realignment a decade ago.
