NCAA tournament chances: Field is mostly set, but two autobids still up for grabs

With only four championship games left in the conference playoffs this weekend, most of the NCAA tournament field can at least be sketched out, but not drawn in pen quite yet.

There are 14 teams that have 100 percent secured a tournament appearance, either by winning frequently enough in the regular season to secure an at-large bid or by grabbing the automatic bid that comes with a conference championship on Friday.

As such, we also know that only two more teams can qualify, and four are playing for those two spots.

Basically, with Quinnipiac losing in the ECAC semifinals, and Western Michigan and Denver advancing to the NCHC final, what seemed chaotic just this afternoon became alarmingly orderly.
