HIFK centre and top 2020 NHL Draft prospect Anton Lundell is a complete two-way player. It’s plain for all to see. He should be a top 10 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, too — EliteProspects ranked Lundell No. 9 in its April ranking.

Maturity beyond one’s years isn’t enough to secure a top 10 spot by itself though.

Lundell considers himself a playmaker, and with good reason — that’s often the case with centres. The position is becoming increasingly accommodating of a finishing touch, though, and Lundell seems to have a willingness, fascination even, with making that a part of his game.

How, one might ask? By studying goaltenders.
