GLENDALE, Arizona — Eric Comrie‘s development path made him a technical ‘poster child’ long before the Winnipeg Jets eventually drafted him 59th overall, in the second round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

The 24-year-old netminder is the original disciple of the ‘head trajectory’ training technique; a concept that Lyle Mast pioneered which shifts a goaltender’s tracking emphasis from the eyes to their entire head.

Scouts and members of the goaltending community alike have all had their eyes on Comrie for what feels like a lifetime as a result.
