Carey Price is the Canadiens' best hope to extend Stanley Cup Final series

The Montreal Canadiens were always going to be the underdogs in this Stanley Cup Final matchup against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning, but I don’t think we knew they would be this underdog-like. 

The Habs have been outscored 14-5 through three games, all losses. Friday night in Game 3, they returned home to Bell Centre and were greeted with 3,500 fans and even more in the streets, but they didn’t exactly return the support. 

Their best player didn’t play like their best player. They had no chance without goalie Carey Price playing up to his full capabilities. The Canadiens may have overcome several obstacles to make it into this Final, but they don’t have the firepower to be able to overcome a bad outing by Price. And he had a pretty bad outing in Game 3.
