The Edmonton Oilers bolstered their depth on Wednesday adding forward Adam Henrique and defenceman Sam Carrick in a deal with the Anaheim Ducks.

According to Chris Johnston, the Ducks are getting draft picks in return.

Henrique, 34, has 42 points in 60 games this season and was a pending unrestricted free agent. Carrick, 32, has appeared in 61 NHL games and has 11 points from the blue line.

For Edmonton, the move adds a veteran depth scorer and a defender that has become an NHL regular in the past couple of seasons.
