EP Rinkside 3 stars for Week 3 of the NHL season

Hey, it’s the end of the third week of the NHL regular season. It wasn’t exactly one too many people are going to look back on fondly.

By Thursday morning, many of the league’s worst tendencies and cultural drives had been highlighted, triple-underlined, and screamed about for 48 straight hours. That’s to be expected, but even the way in which the man who was thrust into the middle of the whole thing by circumstances well beyond his control — including, for some reason, poor redacting — was, itself, unfortunate.

Hopefully, everything that happened this week allows the league and the sport to move forward in better shape. In the meantime, there are other things that happened this week as well.
