EP Rinkside 3 Stars: Going Sawyer Mode

Saw something last night where the Calgary Flames aren't going to trade Jacob Markström because they want to "send the right message" and then TSN pushed out something asking if Noah Hanifin is guaranteed to move. Who knows how accurate how any of that is, but it's out there for lack of anything better to talk about.

I know people, myself included, started sounding alarm bells that maybe Flames general manager Craig Conroy isn't doing too well handling this whole "trading assets" thing but I mean, if he doesn't move either of those guys, that's a big-time red flag for little ol' me.

Then he said something that went from a normal red flag to a flag that was some previously inconceivable shade of red regarding the Flames' ability to get a borderline-nothing prospect out of Dallas. I'll just qu
