How Anton Lundell has helped the Panthers' hot start to the season

The Florida Panthers have started the 2021–2022 season with a bang. The team is unbeaten in five games, going 5-0-0 with four regulation wins.

It's not like their calendar has been easy, either. The wins have come against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning and Philadelphia Flyers. The Panthers have outscored those opponents 22-9.

One of the key faces this season is Anton Lundell, the club's first-round pick in the 2020 draft.

Between Lundell's play with HIFK in Liiga and with Team Finland at international events, it was rather easy to predict that he'd become an NHLer on a rather quick schedule. Lundell's strong play at the IIHF Men's World Championships only bolstered that argument and it was pretty clear that he had a decent shot at making the team out of camp next season.
