Martin Nečas is finally breaking out

Based on the month of hockey he just authored, it feels like Martin Nečas' time on each season's list of trendy breakout candidates or players to keep an eye on moving forward is over. 

The reality is that he's already arrived, emphatically reinforcing as much with an electrifying performance on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was a masterpiece from start to finish, in which he was clearly the best player on the ice, which is no small feat given the stature of some of the names involved.
