Minnesota Wild add five players to COVID list

Minnesota Wild players Nick Bjugstad, Nick Bonino, Joel Eriksson Ek, Marcus Johansson, and Jared Spurgeon were added to the NHL COVID list on Wednesday.
According to Sarah McLellan of the Star Tribune, the NHL is expected to postpone the Wild's games through at least Feb. 9.

Expect official update from the NHL tonight.
Thursday's game at Colorado and a four-game homestand against Arizona and St. Louis will have to be rescheduled.
The Wild lost to the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. Spurgeon left the game with an upper-body injury and did not return for the third period. Bjugstad, Bonino and Eriksson Ek played on Tuesday as well. Johansson did not.
They join Marcus Foligno, who was put on the protocol list on Jan. 31.
