Dallas Stars offence no longer relies solely on Jason Robertson, and that's OK

TORONTO, Ontario – The Dallas Stars have the third-best offence in the NHL. 

Statistically speaking, only the Colorado Avalanche and Vancouver Canucks score more goals per game than the 3.69 the Stars averaged in the first half of the season. 

The Canucks have four skaters at this week’s NHL All-Star Game in Toronto, the Avalanche have two. 

The Stars have none, with goalie Jake Oettinger being the only All-Star representative from one of the league’s top offensive teams. 

It’s all a very weird reflection of the Stars and their biggest offensive star, Jason Robertson. 

Through 49 games, the Stars forward has 17 goals and 33 assists. He leads the Stars in scoring and is currently tied for 24th in league scoring with Sidney Crosby.
