What we Learned: Dallas Stars problems are obvious, but solutions seem out of reach

Stop me if you've heard this one before: The Dallas Stars are playing really well but none of their top players can put the puck in the net and it's getting to a point where they're losing a hell of a lot of games and everyone is concerned as the losses inexplicably pile up.

How many times in the past two years has a Stars coach said something along the lines of, "We're not playing badly, but we're not winning either?" One supposes that the only consolation here is that because they keep getting to overtime, they're still sitting fourth in the Central Division by points percentage. Because the rest of the division is a fair sight worse than they are.
