What We Learned: So, who needs a goalie? And who has one to give?

This is not, generally, a stat a legitimate Stanley Cup contender would want to see regarding its starting goalie:

The good news for Jack Campbell is that he played well enough in the first third of the season (.939 in his first 25 appearances) to give plenty of reasons to believe he’ll bounce back. The good news for the Toronto Maple Leafs is that they’re so good even this awful stretch (.883 in the last 11 games) has only seen them lose three of his starts in regulation.

With that having been said, the Leafs’ roster situation is such that they arguably cannot afford to gamble on even questionable goaltending in the playoffs.
