Where do the Carolina Hurricanes go from here?

The Carolina Hurricanes are out of the postseason, and not really for any particular fault of their own. As usual, great team structure but let down by a lack of high-end scoring that was exacerbated rather significantly by injuries to Max Pacioretty (who only ended up playing a handful of games anyway) and Andrei Svechnikov.

Well, if you think this is a group that's officially Going Somewhere, I have great news about the group next season: They can run it all back with basically everyone on the roster, and they have more cap room with which to do it than just about everyone in the league.

They are currently only on the hook for about $59 million in cap commitments in 2023-24, though they have to answer some questions about the roster.
