Where do the Toronto Maple Leafs go from here?

Regardless of how things ended up shaking out for the Maple Leafs in this postseason, there was always going to be plenty of continuity going into next season.

The club has 22 players signed for 2022-23, which is a lot. But that includes a lot of guys you probably haven’t heard much about, and doesn’t actually reflect how many moving pieces there are for Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas to deal with this summer.

First, the bad news: They have just $3.25-million in cap space, and in terms of restricted free agents alone, they have to find a way to squeeze in Pierre Engvall and Ondřej Kaše (who have arbitration rights), as well as Rasmus Sandin and Timothy Liljegren (who don’t).
