Who will replace Marc Bergevin? A look at options for the Montréal Canadiens' next general manager

To say the Montréal Canadiens' start to the 2021-22 season has been disappointing would be an understatement. It's been downright disastrous. 

It was never going to be easy for the Habs without goalie Carey Price and captain Shea Weber, but few could have predicted they would go from a Stanley Cup Final to one of the worst teams in the league. The 6-15-2 start is the worst in the franchise's illustrious 111-year history. 

Owner Geoff Molson had few options. He wasn't going to fire the newly-extended coach, Dominique Ducharme. With exactly $0 in salary cap space to work with and a general manager working on the last year of his contract, he chose the nuclear option and went for a big shakeup.
