Rankings

In our last installment of “Top 10 Goals of the Week” before the World Juniors puck drop in Vancouver, we have a few really sweet pieces.

Make sure to let us know if you’re missing any awesome goals by prospects!

10. Brian Chambers, Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL)

Goalie too agressive? Yes, but still a nifty little move.

9. Travis Treloar, Chicago Steel (USHL)

“Go to the net” and “don’t quit” are common messages from hockey coaches all over the world. Growing up at the rink, Swedish-Canadian Travis Treloar paid attention.

8. Yegor Zamula, Calgary Hitmen (WHL)

Some real Sergei Zubov vibes here, right?

7. Vladislav Mikhalchuk, Prince George Cougars (WHL)

We’re sure the D will pay better attention to #29 next time.

6. Alan Lyszczarczyk, Mississauga Steelheads (OHL)

Strenght. And instinct.

5. Keeghan Howdeshell, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL)

Goalie be like “How de HELL?”

4. Eli Zummack, Spokane Chiefs (WHL)

Toe-drag and then a backhand deke while gliding through the slot. Gotta love empty spaces.

3. Nolan Volcan, Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL)

The D-man leads the race at first. He lost it.

2. Liam Kirk, Peterborough Petes (OHL)

Some nice tic-tac-toe slammed home by Kirk, a bright spot in the future of British hockey.

1. Nicholas Girouard, Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL)

“Three white jerseys closing in. Best send them all to the hot dog stand with a single deke.”
