EXCLUSIVE: EliteProspects 2020 NHL Entry Draft Ranking Version 4.0

We’re little over a week away from the NHL Draft Lottery, scheduled for Friday, June 26th, at 8 PM Eastern. So what better time to update our ranking of the top prospects that are going to form the shape of the draft that follows?

As with our mid-April ranking, we’ve added another round, expanding the sample of prospects to 124 players.

Would you rather we know a little about a lot of players or a lot about a relatively small pool? We’ve planted our flag in the latter of those two camps.

That philosophy follows with the industry standard. You’ve a better chance of finding a scout in colourful garb than you do an NHL team with a draft board greater than 120 players. Your odds of finding a team after the draft that’s exhausted their list aren’t much better.
