COHEN: Nolan Foote had ‘Fun Playing Injured’ but he’s now 100 Percent and Ready for NHL Draft

Kelowna Rockets forward Nolan Foote is the brother of Tampa Bay Lightning defensive prospect Cal Foote, and the son of Colorado Avalanche legend Adam Foote. It’s a hockey family that has a ton of talent. Nolan is the oddball. He’s a forward in a family of defenseman. A left winger to be exact. There’s something to be said for a man who wants to carve his own path.
“Honestly, I have no idea why,” Foote told EP Rinkside when asked about his choice of position. “I just remember that I liked scoring goals. I’m even left-handed, and they’re both right-handed,” he laughed.
“I think it was watching NHL players and being around that Colorado Avalanche locker room. It was an awesome experience. I just love scoring goals, and I think it’s cool that I’m not a ‘d’ in the family.”
