Julien Gauthier extends contract with New York Rangers

Julien Gauthier, 24, of the New York Rangers will play one more season with the club, according to the team's Twitter account.

Gauthier is 6'4" and weighs 227 lbs. He first played for AHM Pointe-aux-Trembles.

The forward scored three goals in 49 games last year with the the New York Rangers.

Julien Gauthier is the 29th player to be rostered for New York Rangers before this season.
