Greg Pateryn is a two-way defenseman with strong skating abilities. Owns good size and strength, while making good use of his body to protect the puck or battle hard along the boards. Pateryn is not known for his abilities to move with the puck, but he sees the ice well and plays a good pass out of his zone to start the team’s transition. His excellent mobility and his strong compete level make him a valuable shutdown-defenseman. (by Rafik Soliman, April 2016)
