Sandström was a skilled defensive defenseman who played a fairly well-rounded game overall. Effective in physical battles for the puck and an excellent PK rearguard. Owned great leadership and team qualities. Was a low-key and low-maintenance guy.
However, he was not an overly creative player on offense, although he did improve in that area. Possessed a terrific wrist shot and caould score some goals, especially when given the time and space, like on the two-man power play advantage.

Note that the first box holds the code for an RSS feed with EP layout, while the second box is unformatted and possible to style after your own preferences using CSS.
