Player Biography and Trivia

Jim wore #101 in the home opener against the Greensboro Monarchs in November 1992, becoming the first professional player to wear three digits. The jersey now resides at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. In 1999, he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS), succumbing to it on January 4, 2002.
