Duchesne was one of the NHL's best offensive defensemen in the late 80s and 90s. He set a career-high in 1993 with 82 points and won a World Championship gold medal the following year. The 3x All-Star retired with 227 goals and 752 points after winning his first Stanley Cup in 2002.
