Red Kelly's 8 Stanley Cups are the most in NHL history by a non-Montreal Canadien. After winning 4 Cups, 3 Lady Byngs, and a Norris Trophy over nearly 13 years with Detroit, he was traded to Toronto, where he was asked to switch to a full-time center. He spent the remainder of his career with the Leafs, winning 4 more Cups as well as a 4th Lady Byng Trophy. The 13x All-Star retired in 1967 with 281 goals and 823 points.
Kelly, 91, died on May 2, 2019, in Toronto, Ont.
