Kuparinen is a heavy stay-at-home defenseman from Finland. He has great size and is known for not backing off when there is a fight coming on. His offensive skills on this level of play are limited and instead his job is to play it safe in his own end. Kuparinen does however play too physical and dirty at times and gets called for too many unnecessary penalties.
