Father: Bobby Hull
Uncle: Dennis Hull
Brothers: Bart Hull, Bobby Hull, Jr. & Brett Hull
Nephew: Jude Hull
Blake Hull, the second oldest son of Bobby Hull, attempted to follow in his father's footsteps. His father was at odds with Pat Ginnell who coached his brother Bobby, Jr. in the WHL. The Hull brothers had drawn interest from the QMJHL Cornwall Royals and Bobby arranged his sons to play in the less physical QMJHL. Cornwall Royals acquired the player rights of Bobby, Jr., Blake and Brett in September 1979. Blake was unable to make the team lineup and he was sent to play for the EOJHL Char-Lan Rebels. The following seasons he went on to play in other Ontario junior leagues, notably the Belleville Bulls that at the time played in the OPJHL.
After junior hockey Hull played senior hockey in Ontario. In 1987 he and his brother Bobby, Jr., won the Allan Cup, the Canadian senior championship.
