Player Biography and Trivia

Walter Wiedmaier got promoted to the Austrian top league with his team Villacher SV in 1976/77. Subsequently, he played nine seasons with the team, scoring 164 points (78 goals, 86 assists) in 298 games, and retired at the age of only 27. Tragically, he passed away from cancer in 1991.
