Inducted into New York State Hockey Hall of Fame -- 2022
Svenskättling som bott nästan hela sitt liv i Nordamerika men har behållt sitt dubbla medborgarskap. Flyttade redan som fyraåring från Stockholm till Kanada.
Var med under New York Islanders storhetstid, med svenskarna Stefan Persson, Anders Kallur, Tomas Jonsson och Mats Hallin, i slutet på 1970-talet och i början på 1980-talet. Avgjorde bland annat Stanley-Cup finalen 1980 mot Philadelphia Flyers. Tvingades sluta med ishockey 1986 efter att ha fått en ögonskada men var kvar som assisterande coach i Islanders under två säsonger.

Var NYI trogen under hela sin tid i NHL och jobbar fortfarande kvar inom deras organisation med vissa marknadsföringsfrågor.

Var aktuell för spel med Tre Kronor i Canada Cup 1981 men tvingades tacka nej då han låg i kontraktsförhandlinga och inte vågade chanse med spel om han skulle dra på sig någon skada.
