Bio
Scott Scissons was an impressive forward in the juniors and was touted by the NHL scouts due to his impressive size and defensive skills. He was picked sixth overall in the first round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, one spot behind Jaromir Jagr.
Despite his success with his hometown major junior team Saskatoon Blades, Scissons was unable to make it to the NHL. He sustained a shoulder injury in his last season in the juniors, which affected his professional career. The recurring shoulder injury eventually forced him to a retirement in 1995.
