Jujhar Khaira (pron: Juh-JAR CARE-ah) is a big powerful 6’ 3” forward that found success with the Prince George Spruce Kings after being overlooked at the bantam draft. Khaira was the Spruce Kings second leading scorer in his rookie season and followed that up with a breakout season with the Spruce Kings and playing for Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge.
Playing on the top line with BCHL leading scorer, Paul De Jersey, Khaira finished the 2011-12 season with 29 goals, 50 assists and 69 minutes in penalties. He also helped Canada West win gold at the WJAC.
