Toby Jeffreys was a co-owner of the Mobile Mystics alongside Tiny Simmons and David Young, having acquired the franchise from the previous owner Eric Margenau. The franchise was dormant in 2002-2003. Jeffreys remained an owner in the franchise after the it was relocated to Gwinnett, Georgia. Sold his stake in the franchise to P. Daniel Orlich in March 2018.
