Sign up for premiumCyril Leeder became involved in hockey in the late 1980s when he worked for Bruce Firestone's Terrace Investments. Firestone, Leeder and Randy Sexton successfully pursued an NHL expansion franchise that became the Ottawa Senators. From 1992 Leeder served as the President of the Palladium Corporation, the company that owned the Palladium. In 1998 he was named the Chief Operating Officer of the arena and in 2002 he was named the Chief Operating Officer by Ottawa Senators. He was promoted to the role of President of the Ottawa Senators in 2009.
