USHL Rosters
Dr. John Ray Slaughter and his wife Glenda Slaughter bought the Abilene Aviators from bankcruptcy on July 24, 1999. They relinquished the ownership of the WPHL franchise, following bankruptcy on November 24, 1999. He died on December 23, 2016.
