Lanai Norris became one of the owners of the Fayetteville FireAntz, after acquiring the franchise from an ownership group led by Howard Bullard and Kevin MacNaught on April 6, 2017. Other investors included her husband Charles 'Chuck' Norris and Jeff Longo. They renamed the team the Fayetteville Marksmen.

The Norris family acquired another SPHL franchise, the Macon Mayhem, from Scott Gooch, John Regan and John Sapp on March 22, 2024.
