Norman Baril, a Cornwall, Ontario, native and a businessman was known for his involvement in hockey in Cornwall and Hull. He was described as " a shrewd dealer always ready to exchange a canoe in return for a battleship" (Clem Kealey, The Ottawa Journal, October 15, 1966). Baril passed away on September 11, 2014.
