William 'Bill' Maluta was a junior hockey coach and a scout. He coached at various junior levels, from bantam to juvenile, from 1958 to 1982 in Flin Flon, MB. One of his young players in Flin Flon was none other than Bobby Clarke. From 1983 to 1991 he lived in Rochester, NY, and coached high school teams. After his return to Canada in the early 90s he went on to manage the Brandon Wheat Kings Midget AAA and worked as a scout for the Regina Pats. Maluta passed away on January 7, 2011.
