Besides his current executive career in the VIJHL, he works as a Victoria firefighter, and has won a Minto Cup with the Gait brothers in junior lacrosse. He's also coached both lacrosse and hockey, and was the first assistant coach for the Victoria Salmon Kings, and also spent 12 years running the midget program at the Victoria Racquet Club.
